I went to a Rev. War reenactment this weekend looking for a tomahawk sheath…no luck. However, I did find some awesome thread snips, some small cotton bags, a linen scarf, and some navy oil cloth for a project I’m cooking up.
Plus it was a great chance to shoot the K1000

MUSIC MONDAY! If finals week is here or near for you put this on repeat, and see how productive you can be. It works for me. Good luck.

Alex Clare-Too Close (unplugged)

The album version is awesome. This is absolutely epic in my opinion.

Eric Valli is a legendary photographer with printed work appearing around the globe for decades. This sample is only a fraction of the striking photos on his website.

EDC

So I finally decided to submit to www.everyday-carry.com. Below is my general kit.

-The Hill-Side cross print pocket square for the dirty work

-Billy Kirk 155 card case. The best wallet I’ve ever owned.

-Car key with P38 can opener. The P38 is handy camping. Plus if it was good enough for grandpa in WWII it’s good enough for me.

-SOG Twitch II. My newest knife and so far I’m impressed.

-Citizen Promaster w/ Natural Leather NATO strap.

-Parker Jotter. The only pen I’ll ever miss when I lose it.

-Homemade keychain that I copied from another design. Sometimes I see things, and think “I could make that.”

When I’m on the trail or the stream I modify this as needed. All and all this handles the 9-5 routine rather well.
